Bid No.178-0350-CP (JJ); PID 001756A; in the amount of $426,957.00 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications. All work is expected to be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days. Authorize the Chairman to sign and Clerk of Court to attest.

Summary:
The purpose of this project is to construct new sidewalk for pedestrian safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, and connectivity between residential neighborhoods. In addition, the project includes reconstruction, rehabilitation, and resurfacing (RRR) improvements that include rehabilitating the roadway pavement, sidewalks, curb, ramps, and pedestrian features that meet current design standards and are consistent with the overall plan for Dansville improvements.
Background Information:
This project consists of two segments. The first segment, sponsored by Community Development, proposes to reconstruct the roadway with the addition of new sidewalk and curb along the east side of Pine Street from 130th Street to 134th Street, and is funded by a Community Development Block Grant. The adjacent and second segment of the project will reconstruct the roadway pavement from 134th Street approximately 625 feet north to match the recent paving project at the limits of the City of Largo and is funded by the Penny for Pinellas. Both segments will be constructed jointly.

Funding is derived from the Local Infrastructure Sales Tax (Penny for Pinellas): Road Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Program allocation and Community Block Grant.
