Summary:
This contract is for the supply and delivery of sodium hypochlorite, a chemical utilized by the Utilities Department to disinfect various equipment and facilities throughout the County.
This is a five (5) year contract with provision for price adjustments after the first year and annually thereafter based upon the Producer Price Index for Chemical Manufacturing.
Background Information:
An Invitation to Bid (ITB) was released on behalf of the Utilities Department on April 24, 2018. This contract replaces the current contract that expires July 14, 2018.

Estimated contract expenditure not to exceed: $4,875,950.00
Estimated annual expenditure not to exceed: $ 975,190.00
Funding is derived from the Utilities Department operating budget.
