Approval to accept a Joint Participation Agreement (JPA) with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in the amount of $437,500.00 for Security System Upgrades at the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).
Authorize the Chairman to execute and the Clerk to attest.

Summary:
The JPA will assist PIE in funding security system upgrades which are necessary to replace antiquated equipment.
Background Information:
The project involves the replacement of the existing access control system; closed circuit television and video management system; security badging system; and a computer-based security training system. Project work also includes upgrades to existing fencing and gates around the secured perimeter of the airport, as well as the remodeling of interior office spaces to accommodate the updated security, badging, and training systems.
