Summary:
Change Order No. 1 adds landscape and grounds maintenance at the newly acquired Lealman Community Center (formerly the Windsor Academy), located at 5175 45th Street No., St. Petersburg, FL 33714. This location is part of the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area Plan.
This change order request also reduces the portion of the contract for Public Works Median/Right of Way Pond/Outparcel Service Locations mowing and maintenance (right of way mowing). The specifications for this portion of the contract required revision and acreage was added. Due to the size, complexity and requirements surrounding this aspect of the contract, Duval was having difficulty keeping up with the work load. The solicitation for right of way mowing has been issued with award recommendation linked as a companion item to this staff report
The remaining portion of the contract with Duval contains more traditional landscape requirements for the Real Estate Management, Parks and Conservation Resources and Utilities Departments.
Background Information:
On January 10, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved the award of bid to Duval for landscape and grounds maintenance for the Real Estate Management, Parks and Conservation Resources, Public Works and Utilities Departments.
