Contract No. 156-0234-CP (RW); in the final amount of $432,100.00; work was completed on October 1, 2017.

Summary:

Change Order No. 1 (final) extends the agreement term by two hundred and seventy eight (278) consecutive calendar days, accepts the contract as complete, releases all remaining retainage, and authorizes final payment. The increase in days for completion is due to unforeseen network issues between Verizon and the Business Technology Services Department which was not the responsibility of the contractor. Substantial and final completion was achieved and accepted on October 1, 2017.

 

Background/Explanation:

The purpose of this project is to provide for the transition of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system from radio to cellular communications technology with remote sanitary sewer facilities such as lift stations. The Board of County Commissioners awarded this project on May 10, 2016.

Funding for this project was derived from the Utilities Department Sewer Enterprise fund.

 

Delegated Authority:
