Summary:
This is a civil action alleging claims of inverse condemnation and injunctive relief against the County. The plaintiff alleges that its seawall, along Joe’s Creek, is failing due to the placement of a Pinellas County Utilities’ lift station, gravity lines and a forced sewer main in the County’s easement adjacent to the seawall. The plaintiff also alleges claims of negligence and trespass against Rowland, Inc., the County’s contractor who performed the work on those utility assets.
The County Attorney’s Office will bring all counterclaims, cross-claims, or third party claims as necessary or appropriate in the judgment of the County Attorney.
