Background Information:

The Board of County Commissioner’s (Board) legislative program captures carryover items from the 2017 adopted program, new items as directed by the Board in its regular meeting held on September 14, 2017, and a list of emerging items that have surfaced since that time. These items were discussed by the Board at its regular meeting on October 17, 2017 as well as the Work Session meeting held on October 24, 2017.  The proposed program is brought before the Board for consideration, amendment and adoption. It is understood that it is not an exhaustive list and other issues may evolve during the year requiring the Board to amend the program.
County staff and our state government relations firm, Dean Mead, will closely monitor the program and provide updates as the legislative process progresses.
