Acknowledgement by the County Administrator of corporate name change from HD Supply Waterworks, LTD (HD Supply) to Core & Main LP for the following contracts:

  1. Contract No. 156-0035-B (LN) Water and Sewer Materials through May 23, 2021 total award $9,310,000.00
  2. Contract No. 156-0384-B (LN) Water Meter and Backflow Prevention Materials and Accessories through August 8, 2021 total award $905,932.65
  3. Contract No. 167-0015-B (LN) Water Meter Boxes, Lid Materials, and Accessories through October 31, 2021 total award $759,000.50

Summary:

This action is a corporate name change to existing contracts.  HD Supply has formed a limited partnership as a standalone entity with a new name of Core & Main LP after fully divesting from its parent company HD Supply.  This acknowledgement is necessary to provide an accurate audit trail for future purchases and to avoid payment delays.

 

Background/Explanation:

The Board of County Commissioners awarded the contract for Water and Sewer Materials on May 24, 2016 and the contract for Water Meter and Backflow Prevention Materials and Accessories on August 9, 2016.  The County Administrator awarded the contract for Water Meter Boxes, Lid Materials, and Accessories on November 1, 2016.

All contract pricing, terms and conditions remain the same as awarded.

 

Fiscal Impact:

The original approved expenditures are not impacted by this change.

 

Funding is derived from the Utilities Enterprise Operating budget.

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to acknowledge this name change is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
