Strategic Plan:
Deliver First Class Services to the Public and Our Customers
5.3 Ensure effective and efficient delivery of county services and support
Summary:
The proposed revision to the Pinellas County License and Rabies Certificate is brought forth as required by Chapter 14, Section 14-61, paragraph (a)(5). While these are administrative, non-substantive changes to improve the customer experience, Florida Law requires approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
The proposed changes to the license and rabies certificate will make the form easier for veterinary clinics and other resellers to complete and to remind veterinary clinics that the certificates must be submitted within 30 days. Pinellas County Animal Services processes approximately 105,000 licenses/license renewals annually both from partners and from within our facility.
If approved, the revised certificate will make the previous version obsolete and be used countywide, replacing existing forms.
