Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, adopt an ordinance approving Case No. CW 17-1, a proposal by the City of Largo to amend the Countywide Plan Map from Public/Semi-Public to Residential Low Medium, regarding 1.35 acres more or less, located at 1685 Belcher Road (regular amendment).

Summary:
Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 12-0 to recommend approval of the proposal and staff concurs with this recommendation. The Planners Advisory Committee recommended approval of this case by a vote of 11-0.
Background Information:
The subject property is vacant and is part of a larger 7.11 acre religious institution site. The proposed development for the amendment site is 7 single family detached homes. If approved, this amendment will be consistent with the Largo Comprehensive Plan.
