Deliver First Class Services to the Public and Our Customers
5.1 Maximize partner relationships and public outreach
5.2 Be responsible stewards of the public’s resources
5.3 Ensure effective and efficient delivery of County services and support

Summary:

This action transfers identified installed assets at the PSC to the PCSO.  The purpose of the action is to transfer the tracking, maintenance and replacement responsibilities for the subject assets to the appropriate Authority.

Background Information:

The transferable assets list includes furniture, fixtures and equipment with a total original purchase value of $1,409,115.17.  These items were purchased and installed within the PSC construction work scope.

Two assets, a technology integration system (Crestron) and the car wash, are real property assets and attached to the building similar to air conditioning equipment, lighting systems and water pumps.  By Florida Statute, the PCSO is not permitted to own real property assets, therefore these two systems cannot be transferred.  However, this action memorializes the PCSO agreement to maintain and repair the car wash, and be responsible for support, repair and replacement of the specified Crestron system components.  REM will be responsible for the balance of the Crestron system components.
