Summary:

This action will convey three escheated properties to the City as required by Florida Statutes. The properties are located within the municipal boundary of the City.

Background Information:

These properties were conveyed to the County by Tax Escheat Deed, as provided for by Florida Statutes Section 197.502(8).  Florida Statutes Section 197.592 governs conveyance of properties located in a municipality which are acquired by the County via delinquent taxes (escheat).

Since the County has no current or future statutorily prescribed use for the properties, the County is required to convey them to the municipality in which the subject properties are located.

The property and mineral rights will be conveyed to the City by County Deed.
