Summary:
The area in question is the City of Safety Harbor-owned parcel known as the Green Springs Preserve. It will include approximately 6.6 acres and involve adjustment of the boundary lines between the Preservation and Recreation/Open Space categories per a jurisdictional wetland survey.
Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 11-0 to recommend official acceptance of the map adjustment and staff concurs with this recommendation. The Planners Advisory Committee recommended official acceptance of this map adjustment by a vote of 13-0.
