This action allows acceptance of donated fitness equipment to be added to Human Resources fixed asset inventory for use in a remote fitness facility for employees at 22211 US Highway 19, Bldg. 8. Acceptance of donated equipment requires the approval of the Board of County Commissioners.
Background Information:
Phenomenal Service desires to donate two pieces of fitness equipment to Human Resources for placement and use in a remote workout facility. The current market value of the used fitness equipment is $3,000, verified by Human Resources staff. Documentation of the closest valuation is attached.
Human Resources staff followed an established process to evaluate and approve remote workout facility locations. The facility at 22211 US Hwy.19 has been identified as the appropriate location for this equipment.
