Summary:
The proposed revision to the Pinellas County License and Rabies Certificate is brought forth as required by Chapter 14, Section 14-61, paragraph (a)(5). While these are administrative, non-substantive changes to improve the customer experience, Florida Law requires approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
The proposed changes to the license and rabies certificate will make the form easier for veterinarian clinics and other resellers to complete and simplify the data for more efficient entry into the software system. Pinellas County Animal Services processes approximately 73,700 licenses/license renewals annually both from partners and from within our facility.
If approved, the revised certificate will make previous versions obsolete and be used countywide replacing existing forms.
