This amendment is for a six month time only extension to the preliminary engineering phase, extending the design phase from January 31, 2017 to July 31, 2017.

Summary:
This amendment is necessary to extend the original anticipated design completion date from January 31, 2017 to July 31, 2017 due to the consultant solicitation process taking longer than anticipated which has created delays to the design process. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain the same.
Background/Explanation:
The Board entered into the original agreement with FDOT on November 30, 2015. The project cost is $174,766.00 which is one hundred (100%) percent of the funding needed for the design activities of the Hercules Sidewalk Phase II Project. At the County’s request, FDOT has extended the expiration date of the agreement. The time only extension of this amendment should provide sufficient time for the completion of the design process.
