Sitting as the Pinellas County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Authority, approve the following appointments to the EMS Medical Control Board for a two-year terms ending June 2018: Dr. Rajneesh Mathur, reappointment as emergency physician representative, and Dr. Jeremy White, appointment as emergency physician alternate.

Summary:
Dr. Rajneesh Mathur has volunteered to serve another two-year term as an emergency physician representative.
Dr. Jeremy White has been nominated by Florida Hospital North Pinellas to serve a two-year term as an emergency physician named alternate representative for Dr. Mathur.
Background Information:
The Pinellas County Emergency Medical Services Special Act established a Medical Control Board (MCB) consisting of four (4) licensed physicians specializing in emergency medicine from facilities in Pinellas County, four (4) Pinellas County hospital administrators, one (1) emergency physician appointed by the Pinellas County Medical Association, one (1) emergency physician appointed by the Pinellas County Osteopathic Society and one (1) emergency physician from a trauma center located within Pinellas County.
Per Section 3.3 of the EMS Medical Control Board bylaws, a member may recommend to the EMS Authority for approval of an alternate to serve in their absence. The alternate must represent the same category as that of the member.
