Bid No. 156-0091-B(LN) in the amount of $1,383,786.55 for sixty (60) months on the basis of being the lowest, responsible bid received meeting specifications.

Summary:
This contract is for annual requirements of countywide recycling services. Services provided include collection, processing, marketing of recyclable materials, and maintenance for solid waste owned collection containers.
Background Information:
On March 30, 2016, the Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Solid Waste Department, released an invitation to bid with the intent to establish a contract for recycling collection and processing services. The current contract is expiring June 2016.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated sixty (60) month expenditure not to exceed: $1,383,786.55
Funding is derived from the operating budget of the Solid Waste Department.
