Approval and execution of Change Order No. 1 with Insituform Technologies, LLC for the Cured-In-Place Pipe Rehabilitation Program.
• This contract was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 7, 2024, for $4,932,383.41.
• Change Order No. 1 provides for services to clean, video inspect, and install Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining in existing corrugated metal pipes (CMPs) in the County Stormwater system.
• Change Order No. 1 increases the contract in the amount of $249,959.90 for a revised total not to exceed $5,182,343.31.
• This change order will allow Public Works to continue lining efforts as they work through the procurement process for a contract specifically for stormwater lining.
• Funding for this change order is budgeted in the FY25-FY30 Capital Improvement Program: Surface Water Pipe Lining/Remove & Replace program project, 002625A, funded by the Surface Water Utility Fee, and the Storm Sewer Pipeline Rehabilitation and CIPP program project, 002064A, funded by Penny for Pinellas.

Summary
The purpose of this change order is to provide services to clean, video inspect, and install Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining in existing corrugated metal pipes (CMPs) in the County Stormwater system.

This lining project will extend the useful life of the CMPs and provide cost savings when compared to replacement. This change order will allow Public Works to continue lining efforts as they work through the procurement process for a contract specifically for stormwater lining.
