Recommended Action

Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement, with NDL, LLC dba Natural Designs Landscaping for Mowing Services.

 

                     This contract provides grounds maintenance of landscaped roadway medians, adjoining rights-of-way, related storm water mitigation ponds and County-owned outparcels on a cyclical basis, as request by the Public Works department.

                     This Amendment increases the contract by $367,000.60 to allow for the provision of debris cleanup services no longer provided by inmates of the Pinellas County Jail.

                     The County Administrator has authority under Section 2-184 to increase Maintenance Repair and Operating contracts by 50% of the initial Board of County Commissioners award amount.

                     The original agreement was approved by the Board on April 13, 2023, in the amount of $1,540,561.12.

                     Funding is budgeted in the Public Works Department General Fund operating budget.

 

Contract No. 23-0208-ITB increase in the amount of $367,000.60, revised not-to-exceed $1,907,561.72, effective through April 12, 2025, with remaining term extensions.
