Approval and execution by the County Administrator of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with TLC Engineering for Architecture, Inc. to acknowledge a corporate name change to TLC Engineering Solutions Inc (TLC).
• This contract provides mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, technical and construction management services to support numerous projects identified in the Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
• TLC is one (1) of eight (8) consultants on this contract.
• The corporate name change from TLC Engineering for Architecture, Inc. to TLC Engineering Solutions Inc. is for brand marketing purposes only; all other legal terms, including the Federal ID (FEIN) number, remain the same.
• This amendment has no fiscal impact to the contract.
Contract No. 145-0422-CN(JJ); effective through March 28, 2021. The Board awarded this contract in the total amount of $4,000,000.00; $500,000.00 per consultant, on March 29, 2016. This Amendment has no fiscal impact to the Agreement as awarded.

Background/Explanation:
This contract was originally approved by the Board of County Commissioners on March 29, 2016 and provides for mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, technical and construction management services to support numerous projects identified in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
Fiscal Impact:
The name change has no fiscal impact.
The current approved upset limit over the five (5) year term of the contract is $500,000.00 for each firm for a total of $4,000,000.00.
Seventy-five percent (75%) of funding is derived from various CIP budgets and twenty-five percent (25%) is derived from operating budgets per individual work assignments on a multiple year/multiple work assignment basis.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to acknowledge this name change is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
