Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the purchase authorization with Duval Ford for requirements of heavy and light duty vehicles and equipment.
• This purchase authorization with Duval Ford (Duval) was approved by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on March 28, 2023, as part of a heavy and light duty vehicles and equipment purchase replacement plan in the aggregate amount of $7,031,224.70.
• Due to production delays with eight (8) Ford trucks, Duval could not fulfill the order with 2023 models. Duval had to fulfill the order with 2024 model year trucks resulting in a price increase to the County. This amendment increases the purchase authorization agreement with Duval Ford in the amount of $34,295.01 for the year for a revised not to exceed amount of $2,302,303.59.
• This purchase authorization agreement was included in the approval of the Fleet Management Equipment Purchase Plan which consisted of multiple agreements with various vendors.
• Funding for this agreement is included in the FY25 Adopted Operating Budget for the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) in the Fleet Management Fund.
Contract No. 23-00030-PB increase in the amount of $34,295.01 for a revised not to exceed amount of $2,302,303.59 with Duval Ford, revising the total of the Equipment Purchase Plan authorization to $7,102,065.09.

On March 28, 2023, the Board approved the fiscal year 2022 heavy and light duty vehicle replacement plan in the total not-to-exceed amount of $7,031,224.70. Included as part of that approval was the Purchase Authorization with Duval Ford in the total amount of $2,268,005.58.
