Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement with Atos IT Solutions and Services, Inc. to acknowledge the corporate acquisition of Unify, Inc. pertaining to Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telecommunications equipment and services.

                     This Agreement provides technology in support of the County’s telephony network, desk phones and softphones for voice communications in support of County services and operations.

                     This First Amendment acknowledges the corporate acquisition of Unify, Inc. There is no fiscal impact associated with this amendment.

                     This acknowledgement is essential to ensure invoices are paid timely per statutory requirements.

                     The Board of County Commissioners approved this five (5) year contract on April 21, 2020, in the amount not to exceed $4,405,130.00.

 

Contract No. 190-0127-SS in the amount not to exceed $4,405,130.00, effective through April 20, 2025.

Summary:

The purpose of the First Amendment is to acknowledge the corporate acquisition of Atos IT Solutions and Services Inc. to Unify, Inc. who will accept the pricing, terms, and conditions of the existing Agreement.

 

Background/Explanation:

The Board of County Commissioners approved this five (5) year contract on April 21, 2020, in the amount not to exceed $4,405,130.00.

 

Fiscal Impact:

There is no fiscal impact with this Amendment.

Current expenditure not to exceed:                     $4,405,130.00

Funding is derived from the BTS Infrastructure Operating and Capital Improvement Program Budget.

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Amendment is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
