Summary
The property sought to be foreclosed upon is located at 2627 Westbury Avenue, in unincorporated Palm Harbor.
In 2024, a Special Magistrate lien was imposed upon Robert Chambers, Est. as a result of numerous code violations, including minimum housing, and trash and debris. In December 2024, an administrative fine was assessed until compliance is achieved. To date, compliance has not been achieved. The liens have not been satisfied and the violations continue to exist. The property to be foreclosed upon is an unoccupied, non-homestead residential property.
This authorization includes bringing suit against all defendants that are or may become necessary to fully litigate this action.
If the property goes to foreclosure sale, the County Administrator is authorized to direct staff to make a bid in the amount of the foreclosure judgment, or a lesser amount (including no bid) as determined by the County Administrator. The County Administrator is further authorized to take all necessary action to ensure the foreclosure sale proceeds and, if appropriate, to participate in the foreclosure auction.
