Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Agreement with Ameri-Pride Pest Control d/b/a Prime-Scape Services (Prime-Scape Services) for tree maintenance services, trimming and pruning.
• This contract provides enterprise wide services managed by Parks and Conservation Resources for tree trimming and pruning services to promote the natural shape and mature size of tree species.
• This First Amendment, in the amount of $236,775.00, is to modify the number of trees requiring annual trimming maintenance at county locations; the original tree estimates provided were not sufficient to meet the required needs and hence needed to be increased.
• This contract was originally awarded by the County Administrator on November 11, 2020 for a sixty-month duration in the amount of $610,725.00.
Contract No. 189-0360-B(DG) increase in the amount of $236,775.00 for a revised total contract value of $847,500.00 with an estimated average annual expenditure of $169,500.00, effective through November 1, 2025.Body

Summary:
This contract is for requirements of tree maintenance services, trimming and pruning at countywide locations. The First Amendment increases the contract in the amount of $236,775.00 for the sixty (60) month term to provide additional funding for revised tree quantities that were understated during the development of specifications.
