Recommended Action

Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the Software Subscription Agreement for ePermitHub Digital Plan software services as requested by the Business Technology Services Department.

 

                     ePermitHub provides permitting departments with a fully electronic plan review capability with full integration inside Accela Civic Platform.

                     This platform allows multiple trades to collaborate and review plan documents at the same time and provide real-time communication with the developer community on the status of their submittals.

                     This First Amendment extends the Agreement seven years and increases the contract in the amount of $681,957.00. The annual fixed pricing is inclusive of a 3% price increase year over year.

                     The funding for this Amendment is included in FY24 Adopted Budget within Business Technology Services Fund, Cloud Technologies cost center.

 

Contract No. 21-0611-N increase in the amount of $681,957.00, for a revised total expenditure not to exceed $837,524.85, effective through November 30, 2030.

Summary:

ePermitHub provides permitting departments with a fully electronic plan review capability fully integrated inside Accela Civic Platform, which allows multiple trades to collaborate and review plan documents at the same time an provide real-time communication with the developer community on the status of their submittals.

Using ePermitHub has significantly improved and streamlined the approval process for plan review and submittals and has put the County in compliance with HB1059 which became effective July 1, 2021.

 

Background/Explanation:

This Agreement was approved by the County Administrator on November 29, 2021, in the amount of $155,567.85.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Current expenditure approval:                                          $155,567.85

Seven-year increase:                                                               $681,957.00

Revised approval:                                                                                    $837,524.85

 

Funding is consistent with the BTS FY24 Adopted Budget within Business Technology Services Fund, Cloud Technologies cost center.

  

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to sign this Amendment is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
