Summary:
Attached is a memo reporting one (1) General Liability settlement and no (0) Workers’ Compensation settlements for April 1, 2020 through June 30, 2020. This receipt and file report is for General Liability settlements and Workers’ Compensation settlements made under delegated authority to the joint discretion of the County Administrator or his/her designee and the County Attorney.
Background Information:
Attached is a memo from Merry Celeste to Jewel White and Jill Silverboard dated July 6, 2020, stating there was one (1) General Liability settlement and no (0) Workers’ Compensation settlements to report for the quarter that required mutual consent for the settlement range of $25,001.00 - $50,000.00.
The Board of County Commissioners has delegated the settlement authority of claims, with a dollar range of $25,001.00 - $50,000.00, to the joint discretion of the County Administrator or his/her designee and the County Attorney.
Fiscal Impact:
Combined total fiscal impact for this one (1) claim is $45,500, which will be paid from the Risk Financing Fund 5005 for FY 2020.
