Recommended Action

Sitting as the Countywide Planning Authority, adopt an ordinance approving Case No. CW 19-20, a proposal by Pinellas County to amend the Countywide Plan Map from Residential Low Medium to Office, regarding 0.39 acre more or less, located at 8095 46th Avenue North.

 

                     The proposed amendment would allow for the subject parcel to be used as an office space for a small business which intends to use the site for their control center for phones and filing. 

                     There will be no storage of products on site, or commercial vehicles present.

                     Forward Pinellas and the Planners Advisory Committee each voted unanimously to recommend approval of this proposal.

Summary:

Forward Pinellas, in its role as the Pinellas Planning Council, voted 11-0 to recommend approval of the proposal.  The Planners Advisory Committee recommended approval of the case by a vote of 12-0.

The Board of County Commissioners, at its August 20, 2019 meeting, adopted the related Case NO. Z/LU-12-07-19 and Z/LU-13-07-19:  A resolution approving the application of Richard K. & Monica R. Schneider, for a change in zoning from R-4, One, Two & Three Family Residential to GO, General Office, and an ordinance for approval of a change in land use designation from Residential Urban to Residential/Office General, regarding approximately 0.39 acre located at 8095 46th Avenue North.
