Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the contract with Johns Eastern Company, Inc. to acknowledge a name change to Davies Claims North America, Inc. for services pertaining to Workers Compensation Third Party Administration (TPA).
• This contract provides workers’ compensation TPA services for participants of the County Risk Management Program.
• This contract was awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on September 9, 2021, in the amount of $1,236,600.00 for sixty months.
• The proposed First Amendment to the agreement does not have a fiscal impact and only acknowledges a name change due to a corporate acquisition of Johns Eastern Company, Inc. to Davies Claims North America, Inc.
• This acknowledgement will ensure that invoices are paid according to statutory requirements.
Contract 21-0239-P in the current approved amount of $1,236,600.00, effective through September 8, 2026.
