Recommended Action:

Recommended Action

Approval and issue of renewal Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) to the attached list of Advanced Life Support (ALS) Providers.

Recommend that the Chairman be authorized to sign the certificates.

Summary:

A COPCN is issued to ALS First Responders, ALS Helicopter Ambulances, St. Joseph’s Hospital, All Children’s Hospital and Sunstar, pursuant to Pinellas County Code, Chapter 54 and in accordance with Florida Statutes, Section 401.25. 

 

Background Information:

The current COPCN for the attached list of providers will expire on December 31, 2015.

 

Fiscal Impact:

There is no fiscal impact involved with issuance of these certificates.
