Summary:
This contract is to provide legal advertisements for the delinquent real estate tax list as required by the County Tax Collector. The advertisements must be released in a newspaper of general circulation as defined by Florida Statutes.
The contract term is two (2) years with unit prices held firm for the duration of the term.
Background Information:
On December 15, 2015, the Purchasing Department released an invitation to quote resulting in two (2) responses. Gulf Coast Review Inc. d/b/a Business Observer provided the lowest responsive, responsible quote meeting specifications.
Florida Statute Chapter 197.402 requires the Board of County Commissioners to select and approve the newspaper of general circulation.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated 2-year expenditure not to exceed: $39,080.00
Funding is derived from the Tax Collector’s operating budget.
