Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Amendments to the two agreements with ICON Supply, Inc. d/b/a ICON Technologies.
• These contracts are for Variable Frequency Drives (VDF) - Replacement Parts and Repairs (190-0341-B) and Equipment and Rentals for Utilities (21-0597-N).
• The First Amendment acknowledges a corporate acquisition and name change to SJ Electro Systems LLC d/b/a ICON Technologies.
• Contract 190-0134 was originally approved by the Board of County Commissioners on October 20, 2020, in the amount of $4,069,915.00.
• Contract 21-0597-N was originally approved by the Purchasing Director on June 29th, 2021, in the amount of $364,011.65.
• The acknowledgment of this name change is necessary to provide an accurate audit trail for future purchases and to avoid payment delays.
• There is no fiscal impact associated with these amendments.
• Funds in the amount of $10,089,520.00 are available in the Utilities Department Revenue and Operating FY25 Adopted Budget to meet the fiscal obligations of the amended contracts.
Contract No. 190-0341-B in the current total expenditure not-to-exceed $4,069,915.00, effective through October 19, 2025.
Contract No. 21-0597-N in the current total expenditure not-to-exceed $364,011.65, effective through June 28th, 2026.

Fiscal Impact:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this amendment.
The contracts, as amended, are included in the FY25 Adopted Budget. The annual amount expected to be spent on the contracts is the same as in most recent years.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to sign the first amendment is granted under Code Section 2-62(a)(2).
