First amendment with Tyler Technologies Inc. for Odyssey maintenance and support services as requested by the Business Technology Services (BTS) department.

                     Odyssey Case Manager is a web-based application delivering a comprehensive, end-to-end courts and justice software solution that modernizes and automates court processes.

                     This first amendment terminates Jury Voice from the agreement, no other changes.

                     The Agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on October 1, 2014, and is used by various departments including Clerk of the Court, Public Defender, State Attorney, Sheriff, Board of County Commissioners, and local law enforcement.

                     The system encompasses all court administration functionality from case initiation to disposition to help court run more efficiently and improve the administration of justice.

                     This amendment will result in a likely savings of $4,189.00 annually against the FY25 BTS operating budget.

 

Contract no. 145-0347-M in the not-to-exceed amount of $4,665,558.92 through September 30, 2025.

Summary:

This first amendment terminates Jury Voice from the agreement as it is no longer meets customer department business requirements and expectations.

 

Background/Explanation:

This Agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on October 1, 2014, for the implementation of a consolidated case management system with Tyler Technologies Inc for use by various departments including Clerk of the Court, Public Defender, State Attorney, Sheriff, Board of County Commissioners, and local law enforcement.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Anticipated fiscal impact associated with this reduction in service is an $4,189.00 annual savings to the FY25 BTS operating budget for Justice CCMS (641115).

 

Delegated Authority:

Authority for the County Administrator to approve this First Amendment is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(2).
