Approval of the petition by Robert and Kathleen Warren to vacate the Northerly 35 feet of the Easterly 17 feet of that right-of-way (East Lake Drive) (1051 East Lake Drive).
• The petitioned area is a portion of the East Lake Drive right-of-way that is adjacent to the front of the petitioner’s property.
• Request is for the vacation of a portion of East Lake Drive right-of-way.
• Staff recommends approval.
• If the petition is granted, the Board of County Commissioners is asked to adopt the attached Resolution pursuant to Florida State Statute 336.09.
Authorize the Clerk of the Circuit Court to record the resolution in the public records of Pinellas County.

The purpose of the request is to vacate a portion of that right-of-way known as East Lake Drive that is adjacent to the petitioner’s property (1051 East Lake Drive). The petitioned area consists of a grass median on the east side of the paved driving surface of the road.

County staff reviewed the request pursuant to Pinellas County Land Development
Code Section 154-272, Criteria for Consideration, and have no objections to the vacation request.
The petition was properly advertised in accordance with Florida State Statue 336.10. Notices were mailed by the Clerk of Court to property owners within 250 feet of the subject property.
Letters of no objection were received from Spectrum, Pinellas County Utilities, Frontier, TECO Gas, TECO Electric, Duke, and WOW!.
