Summary:
This action provides additional funding in the amount of $174,780.00 to the County in support of the existing BioWatch Program.
Background/Explanation:
This project has been ongoing since 2003 and is subject to certain information security restrictions per DHS. All information is considered “Sensitive but Unclassified”, “For Official Use Only”, and is not for public disclosure. Any public records requests made relating to this agreement should be directed to DHS.
Fiscal Impact:
The award modification increases funding by $174,780.00 for the project period July 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. No match is required. The grant provides 100% reimbursements for approved costs. The expenditures and associated revenues are included in the PCR Air Quality Division’s General Fund operating budget for FY19. The revenue and associated expenditures are included in the Public Works Environmental Management Division’s General Fund operating budget in the FY20 Proposed Budget.

Authority for the County Administrator to approve this amended agreement is granted under Code Section 2-62 (a)(1).
