Approve the appointment of Janice “Nan” Bennett as a Technical Management Committee (TMC) representative and Linda Larkins as the alternate for that position to fill one of the two (2) vacant positions on the TMC. Authorize Solid Waste to request letters of interest from solid waste professionals in the private sector to fill the second of the two (2) Board designated positions.

Summary:
Appoint Janice “Nan” Bennett, P.E., County employee of the Office of Engineering & Technical Support, as TMC representative and Linda Larkins, County employee of the Office of Management Budget, as her alternate. Authorize solicitation of private sector solid waste professionals interested in the appointment of the second representative and alternate by the Board.
Background Information:
Section 106.54 of the County Code requires the TMC be created of 13 members. The TMC shall be made up of County and Municipality representatives. TMC reviews and proposes recommendations for management and operational policies of Solid Waste.
