Approval of the First Amendment with SHI International Corp. (SHI) for an increase in funds as requested by the Business Technology Services Department (BTS).
• This agreement provides BTS, the Board of County Commissioners, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the 6th Judicial and other constitutional departments with efficient procurement of IT software, hardware, cybersecurity and related services. SHI serves as a strategic value-added reseller for various technology vendors for enterprise software including Microsoft, Adobe, VMWare, and ArcticWolf (cybersecurity).
• Below are examples of IT services that leverage this agreement to support County and constitutional operations:
o Microsoft 365/Azure (Email, Datacenter, Security, Teams, Office365, Sharepoint)
o VMWare (Datacenter, Server and Storage Management)
o Adobe (Document Management, Digital Signatures)
o ProofPoint (Email/SPAM Protection and Monitoring)
o Arctic Wolf (24/7 Cybersecurity Operations Center Services)
o Solarwinds (Network Event Monitoring)
o Splunk (Cybersecurity Monitoring/Logging)
• The First Amendment adds additional funds in the amount of $16,500,000.00 at the same prices, terms, and conditions, to support ongoing County and constitutional operational needs through the end of the contract term in February 2028.
• Pricing is based on Sourcewell Contract No. 121923-SHI while using the County's terms and conditions.
• Funding for this amendment is included in the BTS Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 adopted budget and the FY27 proposed operating budget, with future years dependent on approved appropriations.
Contract No. 24-0762-PB increase in the amount of $16,500,000.00, for a revised not to exceed amount of $32,580,000.00 through February 28, 2028; Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.
