Approval of the Second Amendment to the Agreement with Williamson Dacar Associates Inc, d/b/a Williamson Design Associates for the Pinellas County Jail Secure Entry Center (SEC).
• This contract provides professional architectural/engineering services for the Pinellas County Jail SEC.
• This second amendment increases the contract by $142,371.20, adding additional design scope for the east parking lot, site signage, and contingency.
• The contract was awarded by the Board of County Commissioners on March 8, 2022, in the amount of $836,123.40. The First Amendment was approved by the Purchasing Director increasing the agreement by $74,551.60 and extending the contract duration by twelve hundred seventy-one consecutive calendar days through August 30, 2027, due to phased construction not identified in the original contract scope and timeline.
• Funding is budgeted in the Capital Improvement Program under the New Jail Security Entry Center project 004179A, funded by the Courts and Jail Penny Countywide Investment funding.
