Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the First Amendment to the contract pertaining to the acquisition and name change of Layne Inliner, LLC to Granite Inliner, LLC for storm sewer cured-in-place pipelining (CIPP), a Tampa Bay Purchasing Cooperative contract (Coop).
Contract No. 167-0513-CP(JJ); in an amount not to exceed $ 7,317,845.00, through May 7, 2021. There is no fiscal impact associated with this Amendment.

Summary:
The First Amendment expressly provides acknowledgement of the acquisition and name change of Layne Inliner, LLC to Granite Inliner, LLC.
Background/Explanation:
This contract provides cured-in-place pipelining for storm water pipes throughout the unincorporated County and within County maintained right-of-ways, on an as-needed, work order basis. This is a Coop contract administered by the County providing all municipalities within the County and region to utilize services at the same pricing, terms and conditions.
The Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved this contract on February 27, 2018

There is no fiscal impact associated with this acknowledgement.
Approved expenditure not to exceed: $7,317,845.00
Funding is derived from the Local Infrastructure Sales Tax (Penny for Pinellas) through various functions and programs, and the Surface Water Utility Fee. Cooperative participants are responsible to secure their own funding and issuance of purchase orders.
