• Twelve bids were received with Ameri-Pride Pest Control d/b/a Prime-Scape Services recommended for award as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder with an estimated annual average expenditure of $122,145.00.
• This is a sixty (60) month contract in the total amount of $610,725.00.

Summary:
This is a request to award to Ameri-Pride Pest Control d/b/a Prime-Scape Services for tree maintenance services, trimming and pruning. Parks and Conservation Resources manages countywide requirements for tree trimming and pruning services promoting the natural shape and mature size of tree species.
Background/Explanation:
On June 9, 2020 the Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Parks and Conservation Resources, released an invitation to bid to establish a contract for tree maintenance services, trimming, and pruning. Twelve responsive vendors responded to this invitation to bid with Ameri-Pride Pest Control d/b/a Prime-Scape Services recommended for award as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Two statements of no bid were received.
Fiscal Impact:
Estimated sixty (60) month expenditure not to exceed: $610,725.00
Estimated average annual expenditure: $122,145.00
Funding is derived from the Parks and Conservation Resources operating budget and/or the operating budgets of those departments using these services.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to award this bid is granted under Code Section 2-188(b).
