Bid No. 156-0155-CP(PF); PID No. 001544A; in the amount of $8,932,979.00 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications; all work is expected to be completed within five hundred (500) consecutive calendar days. Chairman to sign and Clerk of the Court to attest.

Summary:
This project will add approximately 12,000 square feet of passenger hold room capacity to the Gate 7-10 area. This additional area is needed to provide the needed seating capacity (approximately 750 seats) for the Airport’s continued growth. Additional project elements are rehabilitation to restrooms in baggage claim, and second floor restrooms at the west and east sides of the terminal; new restrooms in the Gate 7-10 area; upgrades (i.e. additional lanes) to the security checkpoints for Gates 2-6, and Gates 7-10 to meet current and future capacity demands; new chiller; and additional area for concessions.
Background Information:
This bid was originally released on October 2, 2015; one (1) bid was received. Due to lack of competition on a project of this size and scope, and the volume of questions received during the process, it was recommended that the sole bid be rejected and a new bid be released with revisions to the specifications.
The bid for this project was re-released on December 18, 2015 and five (5) bids were received. The award recommendation in the amount of $8,932,979 is inclusive of alternates 1 through 5 and $500,000.00 in contingency funding.

Total expenditure not to exceed $8,932,979.00.
Funding for this project is derived from Passenger Facility Charges.
