Summary:
At the Clerk of the Circuit Court’s (Clerk) request, the purpose of this amendment is to remove the “consent to hire” provision and add a “non-solicitation” provision to the agreement. This provision was missed in the original drafting and approval of the document.
Background/Explanation:
The Agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on August 7, 2018 for five (5) fiscal years, through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022.
The provision states that the County may not “directly solicit” an employee from Crowe at any time prior to one year following the expiration of the Agreement to perform services similar to the services provided under the Agreement. The County may, however, hire any employee through a general solicitation for employment.
