Approval and authorization for the County Attorney to initiate litigation in the case of Pinellas County v. Wilmington Trust N.A. Successor Trustee to Citibank N.A. as Trustee for the Benefit of Registered Holders of Structured Asset Mortgage Investments II Trust 2007-AR1.  Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates, Series 2007-AR1 (“Wilmington Trust, N.A.”).

Summary

The property sought to be foreclosed upon is located at 2204 Euclid Cir. S., in unincorporated Clearwater (the “Property”).

In 2020, a Special Magistrate lien was imposed upon Wilmington Trust N.A. as a result of numerous code violations including minimum housing, inoperable vehicle, and trash and debris.  In August 2020, an administrative fine was assessed until compliance is achieved.  In 2021, the Property was condemned by the Housing Official.  The liens have not been satisfied and the violations continue to exist.  The property to be foreclosed upon is an unoccupied, non-homestead residential property.

This authorization includes bringing suit against all defendants that are or may become necessary to fully litigate this action.
