• This contract provides mowing services for Facilities properties.
• Four bids were received with award recommendation to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Yellowstone, in the amount $751,311.80.
Bid No. 189-0363-B(PLU) in the annual amount of $150,262.36 for a five (5) year total of $751,311.80 on the basis of being the lowest responsive, responsible bid received meeting specifications.

Summary:
This contract provides a mechanism for the for the Parks and Conservation Resources Department (PCR) to acquire mowing services on a scheduled basis for Administrative Department Facilities and Real Property Division properties countywide. The contract will commence on the effective date of the agreement so that Yellowstone can begin transitioning and meeting with PCR. Actual mowing services begin on November 1, 2019.
Background/Explanation:
On May 6, 2019, the Purchasing Department, on behalf of PCR, released an invitation to bid for mowing services.
Duration of the contract shall be for a period of sixty-months with unit prices firm for the first twelve-months, and adjustable pricing (increase/decrease) at twelve-month intervals following the anniversary date of contract award. Adjustments to occur annually thereafter for the life of the contract, in an amount not to exceed the average of the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers.

Total estimated expenditure not to exceed: $ 751,311.80
Estimated annual expenditure not to exceed: $ 150,262.36
Funding is derived from PCR horticultural services budget.
