Approval of the Second Amendment to the Agreement with Stryker Sales, LLC, for electro-cardiograph monitors/defibrillators and services.
• This contract was originally approved by the Board of County Commissioners to provide electro-cardiograph monitors/defibrillators and services for the Safety and Emergency Services Department.
• This second amendment adds contract funds for Year 5 maintenance, as prior contract funds were depleted for replacement of defibrillators, additional CodeStat licenses, and AED equipment necessary to maintain and enhance the services provided under this contract.
• Funding for this Amendment is included partially in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Operating Budget for Office of Management and Budget within the Risk Management Fund and partially in the FY27 Proposed Budget. Funding for future years is dependent on approval in the annual County Operating Budget within the Risk Management Fund and in Safety and Emergency Services in the Emergency Medical Services Fund. The County maintains the authority to terminate this agreement should funding not be available.
Contract No. 21-0422-P increase in the amount of $335,757.58 for a revised total not-to-exceed amount of $7,332,287.55 through June 12, 2028; Authorize the Chairman to sign and the Clerk of the Circuit Court to attest.

This contract was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on June 13, 2023, in the amount of $6,893,429.94 for a five-year term to provide electro-cardiograph monitors/defibrillators and services for the Safety and Emergency Services Department. The First Amendment provided for CodeStat license conversions to an enterprise license and the replacement of the LifePak15 monitor/defibrillator with an increase of $103,100.03.
