Approval by the County Administrator of the rejection of proposals received for the requirements of landscape maintenance, irrigation, and mowing services for the Facilities and Real Property Division.
• Request to reject three (3) proposals received due to insufficient information provided by the firms to properly evaluate the proposals.
• On June 23, 2023, the Purchasing/Risk Management Division, on behalf of the Facilities and Real Estate Management Division, released an RFP for landscape maintenance, irrigation, and mowing services.
• A new proposal will be solicited with improved requirements and instructions so that firms may provide complete responses to affect a proper evaluation.
• This request does not have a fiscal impact.

Summary:
This request is to reject the three (3) proposals received for the requirements of landscape maintenance, irrigation, and mowing services. Proposers did not properly respond to the RFP so that an evaluation may be performed. The contract will be resolicited.
Background/Explanation:
On June 23, 2023, the Purchasing/Risk Management Division, on behalf of the Facilities and Real Estate Management Division, released an RFP for landscape maintenance, irrigation, and mowing services. Three (3) submittals were received.
Fiscal Impact:
This request does not have a fiscal impact and only rejects the proposals.
Delegated Authority:
Authority for the County Administrator to reject bids is granted under Code Section 2-188(c).
