2)                     EarthBalance Corp.

3)                     Ground Level Inc.

•                     This contract provides Parks and Conservation Resources Department with vendor resources for Countywide control of invasive vegetation species.

•                     The contract establishes a short list of qualified and experienced environmental firms to be used on an as needed basis by the Parks and Conservation Resources Department.

•                     Five (5) firms submitted proposals; award recommendation is to the top three (3) ranked firms for a duration of 12-months to provide invasive vegetation species management.

•                     The contract has a term of one year with a not to exceed estimated value of $150,000.00 collectively among all three vendors. There are provisions for four (4), 12-month extensions within this contract.

•                     This contract, supported by both the General Fund and the Tree Bank Fund, is not consistent with the FY23 Adopted Budget, resulting in a potential variance of $25,000, or 19.9%. However, due to historical lapse and the use of services being on an “as-needed” basis not to exceed $150,000, no negative budgetary impacts are anticipated.
