Approval by the County Administrator of the increase to the emergency contingency contract with Tetra Tech Inc. for requirements of disaster debris monitoring and management services - Hurricane Helene.
• Increase to the emergency contingency contract in the amount of $818,490.00 for debris monitoring services needed due to Hurricane Helene for a new aggregate total of $2,000,000.00.
• This contract was awarded in the amount of $1,181,510.00 with approval by the Board of County Commissions on November 15, 2022.
• All municipalities within geographical Pinellas County are considered cooperating partners and may enter interlocal agreements with the County to use these contracts for their response efforts as needed.
• Funding from reserves has been made available for disaster debris monitoring and management during Hurricane Helene recovery. A portion of the costs incurred will likely be offset with reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
