Sitting as the Emergency Medical Services Authority, issue a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity to KERT, LLC to provide non-medical wheel chair van transport in Pinellas County. Authorize the Chairman to sign the certificate.

Summary:
KERT, LLC has completed an initial application and has met the Authority’s inspection requirement to operate as a non-medical wheelchair van transport business in Pinellas County.
If approved, the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) will expire June 30, 2019.
Background Information:
Pursuant to Pinellas County Code, Chapter 54, firms providing Wheelchair/Stretcher Van Transportation Services are required to obtain a COPCN in order to operate in Pinellas County. The attached application provides details on the new provider requesting to operate within Pinellas County.
