Approval and execution by the County Administrator of the Purchase Authorization and Standard Services Agreement with Herc Rentals Inc for construction, maintenance & operational related equipment.
• This purchase authorization provides a cost-effective mechanism for County departments to rent industrial, construction, maintenance, and operational equipment and tools on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
• County departments using this contract include, but are not limited to: Public Works, Utilities, Administrative Services, Solid Waste, the Airport, Parks, and Economic Development.
• Pricing is per the State of Florida Contract No. 518-410-19-ACS valid through November 1, 2023, with a provision for one, two-year extension. The County Administrator has approval authority in any amount on State approved contracts.
• This agreement contains a total not to exceed amount of $348,085.00 through November 1, 2023. The State contract provides price adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index.
• Funding is from various departmental operating budgets and uses multiple funds and centers. Funds are budgeted in Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 and available to meet the needs of this request
